What is virtual reality? Why is it so popular on YouTube, Facebook, and other sites?

New technologies can be hard to keep up with and know if we need to be aware of and implement them into our lives. Is VR something we should add or ignore?

In this episode of The Bearded Tog I talk with Griffin Harrington, a VR specialist for The Discovery Channel about the advances of VR in our culture, it's importance and how anyone can get started in VR.

WARNING: We get pretty nerdy, be ready!
