Yes, much like the internal temperature taking of 2019 where we went to a number of restaurants armed with out thermapens to take internal temps of steaks, 3 of us went to various Ruth's Chris restaurants and took our IR pistol thermometers to temp the plates, which they claim to be 500*!!
