In this episode, I share with you some of my thoughts on how to successfully execute a hitting or pitching lesson by providing your players with a valuable experience. If you are a parent, this will be a great listen as well, as you could look out for a few of these points when an instructor is working with your player.

In order to be a successful teacher, you have to master the art of communicating. That’s why the greatest coaches are the best teachers and motivators, simply put, they get their point across.
In addition, being a successful teacher means you need to be able to commit fully to your subject, and be willing to do whatever it takes to create an environment that is suitable for learning.
In this episode, I talk specifically about the lesson experience. If you are an instructor, hopefully this validates all the great work that you are doing in the cage. If you are a parent, this could be a checklist that helps determine what kind of experience and relationship your player is having/or had with their instructor.
Afterall, it isn’t what the instructor knows, it is what they are able to communicate, and the results that they are able to produce. And regardless of knowledge, the following three things should help lead that player to success: SHOW UP, BRING IT, and TEACH.
