MJ has a good feeling about his final season as a Trinity University Tiger. As he reflects on his career, he remembers a defining moment where he consciously decided that he needed to do the little things better to become the player and teammate he needed to be. Once he made those changes- not only did his game improve and role on the team become a critical one, but he found himself truly enjoying the process.

Growing up, MJ played multiple sports, and earned a total of 7 varsity letter between basketball and baseball in high school. He made the decision to focus on baseball for his college career, heavily influenced by his grandpa’s love for the sport, and hasn’t looked back ever since. MJ talks about what it’s like to play for a Division III school, and his positive experience as a Tiger. He truly passionate about baseball and reflects on his opportunity to play with some of the best players in the NCAA this past summer in the Futures Collegiate Baseball League. His willingness to do what it takes to elevate his game, mental toughness and leadership skills are extremely evident. While he is looking to end his undergraduate collegiate career on a high note, he looks forward to using his extra two seasons of eligibility as a MBA graduate student. MJ’s athletic journey isn’t done just yet- perhaps it’s just beginning.
