Advent 2023 guides us through the immense beauty and wonder to be found in the Advent season and in the process of songwriting. Each episode features one song from Cross Point Music’s brand new Christmas EP, Advent: Here Now and some of the voices that helped bring it to life. In episode one, Shirley Hernandez joins to discuss the theme of hope and the rearrangement of an old classic Christmas hymn, “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing”. You’ll hear Cheryl, Dwan and Shirley dive into how they’ve experienced hope as they focus on finding hope in the midst of grief and the hope of reconciliation in the body of Christ.
