Authentication is necessary for most applications, but often, is either an afterthought or a once-and-done feature. This leads to potential issues as the security landscape shifts. While you _can_ roll your own solution for authentication, generating, validating, and refreshing token, an identity solution from a third-party provider may be something you want to consider.
