Pierre Png is a veteran Singaporean TV actor and comedian of Peranakan descent. He stars in television dramas on Channel 5 and Channel 8, and is best known for playing the character of 'Phua Chu Beng' in a long-running comedy sitcom, "Phua Chu Kang Pte Ltd". He has also starred in period dramas, such as "The Little Nyonya" and "The Journey: A Voyage" on Channel 8. Recently, he made his Hollywood feature film debut when he starred in "Crazy Rich Asians" alongside Constance Wu, Henry Golding and several Singaporean actors. We talked to him about his experience in Singapore's television industry, and gained some insight on what goes on inside a Hollywood film set.
