Yip Pin Xiu is a backstroke swimmer and a three-time Paralympic gold medallist, who lives with a condition of muscular dystrophy. We talk to her about her growing up journey as a Singaporean athlete, her thoughts on the controversy of the unfair distribution of rewards between an Olympian and a Paralympian and Singaporean’s attitude towards the special needs community in Singapore.
