Let's see if we can make Amber BLUSH! This week she meets Alexander  Cheves, a LGBTQ+ sex writer, worker and activist, is devoted to fetish and kink. Cheves is best known for his work as a sex  columnist for Out Magazine and as a contributing editor at The Advocate  Magazine, where he writes the widely read "Sexy Beast" column. He also  runs "Love, Beastly," an advice blog known for its frank, unflinching  answers to questions about Queer sex and love. His work has appeared in  VICE, Them and The Body, among many other publications. Brought to you  by the drag queen comedy talk show, Amber Live!  Alexander Cheves, one of America’s leading sex writers, is best known  for his work as a contributing editor at The Advocate and his widely  read “Sexy Beast” column. He is currently a columnist for Out Magazine  and also runs the popular Love, Beastly advice blog, notable for its  frank, unflinching answers to questions about queer sex. His work has  also appeared in VICE, Them, the famed kink magazine Drummer, and other  magazines.  He is a recipient of a 2021 Excellence in Journalism award from the  National Lesbian and Gay Journalists Association. In 2021, he was named  to the Out 100, Out Magazine's list of the 100 most influential queer  people, and appeared alongside Dr. Ruth and other sexual health experts  in the Netflix special Sex Unzipped.  His debut book, My Love Is a Beast: Confessions from Unbound Edition  Press, was named a #1 bestseller on Amazon and the #1 bestseller memoir  from Small Press Distribution within weeks of publication, and has  remained on multiple bestseller lists. His work will appear in the  forthcoming Unsafe Words: Queering Consent in the #MeToo Era from  Rutgers University Press, and in an experimental anthology from Unbound  Edition Press. His second book will publish in 2024.
