Joanne and Sabrina learn from one of the Pre-Prop 8 leaders of marriage equality about the history of discrimination and how it affected partners of different citizenship in being granted legal status in the United States. This is documented in the 40 year old love story of Richard Adams, a naturalized citizen from the Philippines, and Tony Sullivan, an Australian, as the film LIMITED PARTNERSHIP follows their fight to be acknowledged with dignity as a legally married couple in love and devoted to each other – and to the fight. Plus there’s a surprise bonus call-in from the Boulder (Colorado) County Clerk, Clela Rorex, who courageously granted them their marriage license in 1975.
