] One of the first drawbacks in the industry is people falling prey to drugs and having to use artificial or dangerous substances in order to keep up. They were cooked while already dead and tasted much worse than when you cook them alive and dip them in butter. [24:48] The damage of over-restricting calories and slowing down your metabolism as your body adjusts to the lower amount of calories. [39:45] When people have a systematic way of dieting, their body gets less sensitive to it. [45:31] Connor breaks down his protein/carb breakdown the day before his cheat meal, and how intermittent fasting plays into it all. [56:27] Cutting out carbs drastically helped Connor with a bacterial infection several years ago. Carbs and fruit aren’t what they used to be years ago, and if you are going to eat fruit it’s important to eat seasonally.
