Sawil had never considered herself a writer...until she started writing. Her style, which emerged almost immediately, as if born rather than developed, stands out for its rawness and introspection. Sawil has more than a half-dozen ACSAS cohorts under the belt at this point and, as of November 2020, is working on her second book.
