Welcome to our modern world where everything seems to be changing all  the time! 

Back in the old days, we used to be able to show up at an  event that consisted of a room filled with an audience. We’d take the  stage, deliver a speech, interact with our audience, and then go home  and feel as though we’d been able to deliver on the importance of public  speaking. Well, things have changed. In our modern age there is a very good chance that the next speech that you are going to be asked to give will be a remote presentation that consists of you sitting in front of a computer or a video camera  and your audience sitting far, far away in front of their computers.
