The 5 is a podcast about music where on each episode, my guest selects five pieces that are in whatever way influencing their musical practice.  We listen to each one and discuss why and how they stand out.  

My guest for episode four is Dent May.  Born in Jackson, Mississippi, the singer-songwriter broke out in 2009 with his debut album The Good Feeling Music of Dent May and His Magnificent Ukulele on Animal Collective's Paw Tracks label.  His latest album Across the Multiverse, which features collaborations with Frankie Cosmos, came out on Car Park Records last year.
