Earl Lundy III is a third generation Army veteran and Purple Heart recipient where he served as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division. On March 3rd, 2008 during deployment in Afghanistan, a car bomb blew up outside the building where Earl and his team were stationed. For five hours, Earl didn't know if he was dead or alive, and for five hours he was buried under debris.
Earl had major reconstructive surgery on almost every part of his body and fought to be able to walk again, with internal wounds that struck even deeper. Through the other side of this experience became a vulnerable warrior who's life purpose is to serve and push others to become the best, most intentional versions of themselves.
Tune in to this weeks episode to hear Brandt and Early talk through their life experiences, how helping others leads to happiness, and how just taking one small first step can lead to a life of service.
