Episode 9: Boba Liberalism

Alison Chi and Ethan Lee share their analysis and personal thoughts on Asian and Asian American culture and media. This includes exploring the nuances of the Asian American identity and diaspora, and how they relate to Westernized media and culture. The show’s motif is often critical of the definition of the Asian American diaspora being centered around stinky lunches, drinking boba, and attending raves, and attempts to dispel that belief/understanding.
