Our generation is the most empathetic, sympathetic, and generous generation that has ever been, but we are also the most in debt. This being the case, why is it so weird for Christians, when it comes to talking about money in the Church? 16 of Jesus's 38 parables had to do with money, wealth, or resources, over 2,000 verses in the entire Bible are about money and giving.&nbsp;
In one such parable, The Parable of the Talents [Matthew 

-30], the master leaves on a very long journey and entrusts his servants with portions of his wealth while he is away. Upon his return why are two of the servants met with, "well done good and faithful servant", and one of them with, "you wicked and slothful servant"? Why is the one servant wicked and lazy? Is this a fair assessment of his character?
