In this episode I connect with now retired Police Officer Paulette Breau. Paulette was a Police Officer for over thirty years and spent most of her career as an undercover Police Officer.
Paulette shares her story and openly discusses the impacts off sexual abuse, addiction, PTSD and the struggles the ensued with living a double life as an undercover operator. Paulette also shares how her incredible journey eventually lead to her healing and how she overcame so much. A story filled with adversity, hope and perseverance.
Paulette also authored a book "Never At Ease" where she candidly tells her story. This was a pivotal moment for her in her healing journey where she learned the value in finally being able to speak your truth and share your story with the world.

My goal is to share my experience as a retired Police Officer and how trauma, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, impacted myself. I will also share what I have learned and the tools I use to navigate trauma recovery.
