I visited Nitin at his studio to talk about his life from growing up in Kent right though his hugely varied career. We talk everything, including all the stuff we're not supposed to: politics, racism, religion. Please subscribe and review if you can, but mostly, just enjoy listening to this fascinating musician talking about everything that has shaped his work and opinions. <hr> Hosted on Acast. We hear session musician Tom Pigott-Smith talk to actors, singers and composers about the role music has played in their lives and careers. Tom has spent the last 20 years playing on hundreds of soundtracks, TV shows and pop records from Terminator and James Bond to Amy Winehouse and Eric Clapton. His experience means he's seen under the hood of the creative process of countless incredible recordings, giving him a unique vantage point. Over the first series we'll hear from Jonathan Pryce CBE (Two Popes, multiple Tonys, Oscar nomination etc), Sir Richard Stilgoe (Starlight Express, Phantom, long time Andrew Lloyd Webber collaborator), Martin Jarvis (Murder she Wrote, Titanic, Dynasty, Just William), David Arnold (James Bond /Good Omens composer) Peter Gregson (composer and Deutsche Gramofon artist) and Alfie Boe OBE (Tony winning, Platinum selling operatic tenor and music theatre star).
