While most of the press regarding autonomous vehicles has focused on activities in the over-the-road, big-rig trucking industry, there are still a number of companies working to bring the robotaxi to life.  Lead by the likes of Waymo and Cruze Automation, companies are still testing and actually carrying paying passengers in several US cities, with more on the way.
