sudo apt update -y

sudo apt upgrade -y

sudo apt install docker.io -y

sudo apt install docker-compose -y

sudo apt install git -y

cd /usr/local

git clone https://github.com/searxng/searxng-docker.git

cd searxng-docker/

## do this before bringing up searxng the first time

If you don’t do this, the searx page will start to come up but only give you a blank page

sed -I “s|ultrasecretkey|$(openssl rand -hex 32)|g” searxng/settings.yml

#install searxng

sudo docker-compose up -d
