Ray worked in the family business even as a teenager, and saw the harsh realities of entrepreneurship early in his life. He even franchised a cafe business. Moving to the US, he used up his savings to start a remittance business from college, wanting to earn easy money.. and learned the hard way that it's not just fire and forget. Even when he did get a job in the Silicon Valley, he couldn't see himself working for someone else. Now back in the Philippines, he's revived the remittance business but found a need in the property business.
