Chloe @c.a.r.music is one of my favs. She's been in every dj set I've played for a while. She finds this beautiful balance btw a harder edge than house music but not past the techno line where it's only enjoyable in certain circumstances. It's rock music really. That happens to tap into dance music. She's a welcome salve on dance music vox that all sound the same. I hate dance music vox. I'd encourage you to start with her new LP. Then the remixes (new ones Friday). Then go back to Battant and all the way through her catalog.
