Nikki Symons is the owner and creative director of Cape Town's online bakeshop, Sweet LionHeart. She's a 31-year-old, type 1 diabetic, graphic-turned-cake-designer leading a diverse team of womxn to grow their sweet empire together, one cake at a time. 🎂 

Nikki started positing her sweet delicacies in 2015 and has grown Sweet LionHeart into an online bakeshop with an Instagram following of 105K (and counting). 😱 They have worked on projects for the likes of Athi Patra Ruga, Le Creuset, GoodLeaf and Moirs, hosted their very own High Tea event and collaborated with fellow bakers and businesses across the globe.  

Beyond being able to taste and see their creations online, they aim to inspire like-minded pastry chefs and aspiring bakers across the globe through their workshops and online school, growing a community through knowledge sharing. 🤓
