Śrī Jīva Gosvāmī offered a description of the puruṣāvatāras in Anucchedas 1–5, and of the līlāvatāras in Anucchedas 6–26. In Anuccheda 27, he outlined the vibhūtis of Bhagavān. In Anucchedas 28 and 29, he analyzed the first quarter of verse 1.3.28, kṛṣṇas tu bhagavān svayam, and established Kṛṣṇa as the original Bhagavān, the source of all avatāras. In Anuccheda 29, he dealt with scriptural affirmations that seem to contradict the above conclusion. Then in Anucchedas 30–43, he cited various statements from the Bhāgavata Purāṇa that support the above conclusion. Now, beginning from this anuccheda up to 73, he will analyze the dialogues of the major teachers and students cited in the Bhāgavata to show that they too are all intent exclusively upon Śrī Kṛṣṇa.
