Elizabeth Prelinger, Keyser Family Professor of Art History at Georgetown University, discusses "Display Stand with Madonnas" in "Out of the Ordinary." In addition to teaching a variety of subjects, such as German Expressionism and Weimar Culture, Romanticism, Abstraction, and the Symbolist movement, Prelinger has curated a number of exhibitions. These include "Käthe Kollwitz" (National Gallery of Art, 1992);" After the Scream: The Late Paintings of Edvard Munch" (High Museum, Atlanta, 2001) and "Paul Gauguin. The Prints" (Kunsthaus Zürich, 2012).
