– Things to avoid when ministering and teaching the Gospel.

– Power is linked with the Spirit of God. As we receive the companionship of the Holy Ghost and serve the Lord, our abilities are enhanced and increased.

– Paul may have expected the Second Coming to be in his day. Reading passages like these can help us see ways to understand prophecies that are not fulfilled within our lifetimes.

– Attributes of true ministers who teach like the Savior.

– 1 Thessalonians 4 describes how the Saints should live.

– The dead will rise and live again at the day of the Coming of the Lord. Mike and Bryce have different perspectives about Paul’s expectation of when this will happen.

– 1 Thessalonians 4.15-17 discusses the “rapture,” or the taking up of the righteous into heaven at the Lord’s Second Coming.

– 2 Thessalonians seems to have a different approach to the Second Coming, emphasizing that it will come much later, after a falling away.

– One day God will wipe away all tears and make everything right. The Second Coming will not occur until the man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition.
