– A brief overview of these chapters.

– Paul’s unplanned journey to Philippi was a tremendous blessing. We can trust that God knows how to direct our paths.

– All that happened to Paul furthered the gospel cause, strengthening those that witnessed his trials.

– Paul encourages Euodias and Syntyche to stop quarreling. We should stand together and be united as Christians.

– The foundation of the 13th Article of Faith can be found in Philippians 4.8.

– As children of our Heavenly Father, Jesus’ Atonement paved the way for his disciples to become like God. We can shine as lights in the world, even in the prisons of our lives.

– Paul warns of being deceived by the traditions of men. He says, “I can do all things through Christ that strengtheneth me.”

– The Colossians were being beguiled by various teachings of their day. Paul continually worked to bring all Christians into unity. The excellence of the Savior is emphasized.

– Jesus is the light, life, and law.

– We must bridle our passions.

– Practical ways to “put on Christ.”
