– There will be famines, earthquakes, and days of troubles in the last days. The love of many will wax cold.

– The antidotes for the coming struggle are to treasure the word and to always be ready for the Savior’s Second Coming.

– Jesus gives the Parable of the Ten Virgins. The wise will have oil in their vessels.

– Jesus gives the Parable of the Talents. We should be willing to try, even though we may be afraid of failing.

– Jesus gives the Parable of Sheep and the Goats. When we are serving others, we are serving God.
