On today's The Saratoga Podcast Dan, Adam and I discuss Tuesday's City Council meeting, where the public comment period devolved into a chaotic situation that ultimately prompted the Mayor and City Council to cancel the meeting. The issues at hand included...

The establishment of a homeless shelter at the former Senior Center location, which the majority of public commenters spoke in favor of, those who were opposed were heckled and jeered as they expressed their public comments

Saratoga BLM who showed up to speak in support of a shelter, but primarily were there to articulate their anger and frustration towards the current city council and the lack of any follow through for promises made to BLM while they were campaigning for these positions.

The Mayor's loss of control over the meeting, which devolved into shouting, fighting and ultimately adjourning the meeting entirely.

**NOTE: The Council will be meeting tonight at 6pm to try and resume the meeting and get through their agenda from Tuesday***
