04 - We Finally Watched: Creed

1 hour 2 minutes Posted May 27, 2018 at 11:00 am.

Awkward intro and chat - what's it all about?

The unaired pilot

What we're watching today and why we haven't seen it yet?

What are our assumptions and what do we hope for?

Please stop rubbing your hands!

Ratings, Critical Reception and Awards

We love Michael B. Jordan!!

High Expectations so what's it gonna take to be a bad film?

Is Creed 2 gonna be Rocky 3?

All the Marvel connections!

Get on with it!

Sylvester Stallone made Tom cry!

What was the story?

It was really good but Tom and Dee can't agree on whether the dialogue was cheesy or not

a lot of single takes and great relationships

So. Much. Crying!!

Was Mrs. Huxtable the original Mrs. Creed?

Dee has the saddest fact about this movie

The most predictable thing about the film

The fights felt SO real!

What about the romantic subplot?

Tom stupidly kept looking out for an inevitable, but inexplicable, cameo and the realest moment in the whole film and any film!

This is how you do a soft reboot/sidequel

Please stop rubbing your clothes!!

The new settings, characters, and themes and what they mean for the Creed suquel

Why are the opponents always painted as villains?

Tom made an interesting point (apparently)

So many homages!! So many mantras!!

Rocky's funniest old man moment!

When 90's tough guys are nominated for Academy Awards

Let's talk about the Final Fight!

Tom has an extremely stupid thought about boxing in general

Was there anything in the film that didn't work?

Abandoning our scoring system but where does it rank?

What do we hope for Creed 2?

The George Lucas cut

Outro and Call to Action!!
