Following playoff heartache in 2018/19, long serving manager Gary Hackett left, and was replaced by Ian Long. With the Ian Long era well under way, Stour found themselves around the playoffs and were thriving in the FA Cup. February saw the departure of Ian Long, with Wren and Alex Nicholls taking caretaker charge! Life away from football is proving successful for Wren and his Free Train business now thriving, as well as continuing his coaching. It's been a rollercoaster year in DY8, and Wren talks about everything on and off the pitch.
