Hallgrimur Petursson was a 17th Century Icelandic priest and poet.  His Hymns of the Passion are still a part of Iceland's traditions during Lent.

To help you on your Lenten journey this year, I'll read from each of them.  Meditating on them has proved fruitful for me.  I'm sure it will be for you as well.
