Show notes
Up until now, a lot of us had a generally positive view of this season. We could overlook the wasted space that Shamar occupied and look forward. Unfortunately, Episode 5 and all the ugliness that occurred inside has shifted the majority opinion. While several people mentioned they liked this episode, the spectacle that became Brandon's exit has cast a bad perception on everything. He had been hyped from the NToS outburst for episode 1, but it was easy to overlook his threats. Episode 5 made him the sole focus of the show which equaled an unpleasant experience for some but not all. The great thing about our SFP community is that we love the show, have diverse life experience and a have combined that with our willingness to share that allows us to step back and look at what transpired through many lenses to help make sense of it all. Plus, we got a bonus bad boy crush confession from a fellow fan.For each episode, we provide 3 podcasts: an episode recap, an interview with the castoff, and a chance for Survivor fans like yourself to sound off on what you saw and how you think the castaways are fairing in the game. Thirty four fans shared their thoughts on episode 5 and predictions for what we'll see next. We want to thank and acknowledge everyone who contributed to another great Listener Feedback show.
