Welcome to Sur Sadhana with Gandhaar Madhyam. In this episode, we introduce Raag Kalavati. This episode is dedicated to our guru Late Shri Krishna Kumar Kapoor, former professor at Bhatkhande Music University, Lucknow. On his death anniversary, we present a small swaranjali in his honor. Raag Kalavati was one of his favourite raagas and we have covered a patriotic song composed by him. 

As usual, we begin by a small raag parichay, followed by a short recital, a desh gaan performance and concluding with some iconic filmy songs that are based on this raag. We hope you enjoy this episode!
