I Heard Your Laugh from Outside and Thought It Was a Small, Wounded Dog—yes, that's their name—is a self-described 'shitty' screamo Portland-based group that has embraced canonical screamo tropes and updated them with exuberant spirit, influenced by hardcore, shoegaze, and midwest emo.
