Hophni and Phinehas were the two sons of Eli in 1 Samuel. They were abject failures as priests not unlike many in the pastorate today. Eli should have parented them better or at the very least removed them from their priestly duties but he didn't do that, so God did.--What can we learn today from the short narrative of Hophni and Phinehas-
