Baseballspilleren Rube Waddell ble på et tidspunkt kalt "The most interesting man in the world". Han var glad i brannbiler, damer, alkohol og å bryte med store dyr. Han ble lett distrahert, men reddet mange liv. Det var i det hele tatt ingen som var helt som Rube.
