Today, we're getting Lauren's fact file – which includes her full name, where she's from and what her favourite stories are.

Lauren Child has an MBE – that’s an award commonly given to those who have done amazing work!

She’s a children’s author and illustrator best known for her book series, Charlie and Lola.

She’s also written the Clarice Bean series and the Ruby Redfort novel series.
