Today we’re diving in with Rebecca Beyer, the founder of Blood And Spicebush School of Old Craft here in western North Carolina. Rebecca likes to help people get more in touch with nature and plant medicine by teaching people how to incorporate old ways back into a cyclical life. She has a bachelor’s degree in plant and soil science and a master’s in Appalachian studies and sustainability with a concentration in Appalachian Ethnobotany. Rebecca likes to practice, research, and write about Appalachian traditional folk magic and witchcraft, primitive living skills and homesteading, foraging, ethnobotany and other folk ways. Together she refers to this approach as Hedgecraft
