We talk about his journey in music so far, what it takes to craft a career in today’s music world, what it’s like to write music reviews, how to stay inspired and motivated, what makes a truly great song, what the hell happened to Nickelback, working as a team with your peers – as a unit, rather than seeing everyone as competition, and much more.
We had an amazing chat that went on for a good couple of hours. Scattered throughout the show are four of Jeremy’s own, original compositions – three from his band Balls Deep In Your Stepmom, and one from his solo project The Cellophane Heart. The music is stunning and I’d like to extend a huge thank you to Jeremy for his time, his insight, and for being so open on the show. What a legend.
