We are Amy E. Powell and Betsy Bowman, and in each episode of Stereotyped, we watch a movie, followed by an in depth look at the portrayal of the female characters and gender dynamics. As filmmakers and actors, we’ve always known Hollywood has been feeding us some seriously stereotyped narratives, but with each movie we watch, we realize we’ve been glossing over so many more.
