Jelena goes to Moldova to learn how a tiny community of newcomers hopes to bring life into the country’s dying rural areas.

Rural Moldova rapidly loses its population, as (young) people leave the country to find better paid jobs abroad. Jelena visits Riscova, one of the villages encountering the same problem, and meets Evgenya, that has spent all her life working in Russia to sustain her family. At the Pracitioners’ Lab workshop she meets Julian and Liliana, two Robert Bosch alumni that moved to Moldova and hope to change the perception of the country and create new opportunities for those who’d want to stay. How does the community perceive them, and what does it take to change the face of rural Moldova?
