In today's episode, I wanted to share my journey with self-acceptance, self-discovery, and honouring my inner child.You’ve probably heard of this term “inner child” a lot and you may or may not know what it is, but essentially, it represents the forgiving, free-spirited, carefree, creative, sensitive and playful part of us that really never goes away. It’s a part of us that was maybe wounded in the past. Maybe it was suppressed as an effect of conditioning, or we just learned to grow around it and forget that it’s there.I wanted to talk about this today because growing up, it was so easy for us to get lost in people pleasing that we start to lose ourselves in an attempt to mold ourselves into someone else.My journey has been a very long process and I am by no means closer to a destination. But I wanted to share my story, and what I’ve learned & realized on my journey to inspire you and to remind you that we all go through sh*t.
