I am chatting with the incredible Mitzi Starkweather, amazing photographer and human, who experienced a really intense year last year - part of that being a breast cancer diagnosis. Mitzi knew from the beginning that she didn't want to get reconstruction surgery as it wasn't right for her, but she was amazing at the pressure she felt from the medical industry and even friends and family about her decision. Mitzi wants folks to know that there are other options out there in addition to reconstruction and that going flat doesn't mean you are any less feminine or sexy, though it took her by surprise that she was faced with the Squidginess of this in her journey.
