In 18th Century France, a beast roams the woods and feasts on the people of Gevaudan. The terror felt by the townsfolk extended far beyond their homes and the story became an international sensation. Hunters, even those sent on a royal command, descended on the area, hoping to be the one that fired the fatal shot. But what they found when they arrived would shake them to their core. Will we ever truly know what creature the Beast of Gevaudan was?
