Wanjiru Koinange's the Havoc of Choice is a story about family politics and journeying through a fractured country in a delicate time. Based on events around the historical election of 2007, the book follows the lives of Kavata and her family at a time when the country experienced one hundred days of violence shortly after the polls were announced.
