The long-awaited Pew Study on American Jews was released this week. It revealed a growingly diverse community. It also revealed that Ira Sheskin and Arnold Dashefsky who were publicly pilloried one year ago for writing an article suggesting that the number of Jews of color is likely much less than the 12-15 percent figure given by another study, were right.
