It seems that a movie titled "Whitney Houston: I Wanna Dance with Somebody" was indeed released on December 23, 2022, as a biographical musical drama film based on the life and career of Whitney Houston.

Directed by Kasi Lemmons and written by Anthony McCarten, the film stars Naomi Ackie as Houston and features Stanley Tucci, Ashton Sanders, Tamara Tunie, Nafessa Williams, and Clarke Peters in supporting roles. The film was produced by a number of production companies, including TriStar Pictures, Compelling Pictures, Black Label Media, and Primary Wave Entertainment.

The film follows Houston's rise to fame as a music and film icon, as well as her struggles with addiction and personal relationships. It includes performances of many of her hit songs, including "I Wanna Dance with Somebody" and "I Will Always Love You."
