I. We fail Jesus.

A. Five facts about the apostles: 

Fact #1: The apostles with Jesus are his inner circle. (v33) 

Fact #2: The apostles find Jesus is sorrowful. (v34)

Fact #3: The apostles are solicited by Jesus for their help. (v34)

Fact #4: The apostles are found sleeping. (v38)

Fact #5: The apostles are not successful at supporting Jesus. (v41)

II. Jesus forgives us.
